參與多個校企合作項目，在大功率電能變換和電機驅動控製方麵有著豐富的工程經驗，致力於解決當前先進控製理論在工業場合的應用問題。在IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion、IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics、 IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics等頂級期刊擔任審稿工作。科研興趣包括電機驅動係統的無位置傳感器控製技術、容錯控製技術和故障診斷，滑模控製和重複控製等。
