Toothpaste from India may contain antifreeze agent - Health Canada orders recall
July 23, 2007 On Sunday, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a warning over the two chili products because of possible botulism contamination.
On Saturday, Castleberry's expanded its recall of canned meat products that may be connected to a botulism outbreak. It recalled more than 80 types of canned chili, beef stew, corned beef hash and other meat items, in addition to the 10 brands it recalled Thursday. Continue to be diligent when purchasing products from China. The most recent complaints are about lead paint on toys. This coming after pet food and toothpaste contamination will make many cautious, justifiably so, when the name of China appears on a product.
